About this guide
An independent UK decision guide to radiofrequency microneedling. Not a clinic, not a treatment provider, and not affiliated with any device manufacturer.
Published by Northbank Media. Last reviewed 2026-07-31. Information only. This site is not a clinic and gives no medical advice.
This site is a decision guide to one treatment, radiofrequency microneedling, published by Northbank Media. It is not a clinic, it provides no treatment and it gives no medical advice.
Morpheus8 is a registered trade name belonging to the manufacturer of one device in that category. We have no affiliation with, endorsement from or connection to that manufacturer or any other, we do not rank devices and we carry no advertising.
What this site is
A decision guide to one treatment. Radiofrequency microneedling is widely sold in the UK, frequently under a brand name, and the material available to someone trying to decide about it is mostly written by people selling it. This site exists to set out what the treatment does, what the evidence supports, what it costs, what can go wrong and who should avoid it, in language that does not flatter the procedure.
It covers one subject deliberately. There is no directory, no clinic listing, no review scores and no comparison of devices, because a site that ranked devices would be making claims the evidence does not support.
What this site is not
- It is not a clinic. We do not treat anyone, we employ no practitioners and we hold no premises.
- It is not a source of medical advice. Nothing here is a diagnosis, an assessment or a treatment plan.
- It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any device manufacturer, including the manufacturer of the device whose brand name appears in this domain.
- It does not rank devices, and it does not name a best one.
- It does not carry advertising, sponsored content or paid placement. Two articles carry one disclosed editorial link each to an external business, named as an example rather than a recommendation, and neither was sold, exchanged or paid for.
About the name
Morpheus8 is a registered trade name belonging to the manufacturer of one radiofrequency microneedling device. In the UK it has become the term many people search for when they mean the treatment category, in the way that brand names often stand in for a product type. This site uses the name because that is the term people use, and it states plainly on every page that the name belongs to a manufacturer with which we have no connection and that our subject is the category rather than one product.
How the content is produced
Our approach is set out in full on the editorial policy page. In summary: we describe mechanisms and treatment patterns as they are documented in the published literature and in ordinary UK clinical practice, we state the quality of the evidence where it is weak rather than omitting it, we give price information as ranges rather than as quotes, and we do not invent clinics, practitioners, studies or statistics.
How this site is funded
Enquiries submitted through the enquiry form are passed to a registered UK practitioner. That is the commercial relationship and it is stated on the form itself, above the fields, rather than in a footer. There is no advertising, no affiliate arrangement with any manufacturer or retailer, and no payment from anyone in exchange for coverage. Nothing on this site recommends a named clinic, and nothing changes in our content depending on who enquires.
Two articles carry one editorial link each to an external business, named as an example of something the article describes and never as a recommendation. Those links were placed by the publisher for editorial reasons. They were not sold, exchanged or paid for in any form, and the businesses concerned had no sight of the articles before publication. Each of those two pages carries a disclosure block saying so, and every other page on this site carries a block stating that it contains no commercial links.

Common questions
Are you connected to the manufacturer of Morpheus8?
No. Morpheus8 is a registered trade name belonging to a device manufacturer. This site is an independent guide to radiofrequency microneedling as a treatment category. There is no affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship or commercial relationship with that manufacturer or with any other device maker.
Do you provide treatment?
No. We are not a clinic, we employ no practitioners and we hold no premises. We publish information. If you submit an enquiry, your details are passed to a registered UK practitioner who contacts you directly, and nothing is booked on your behalf.
Which device do you recommend?
None. The published evidence does not support ranking one radiofrequency microneedling device above another, and the variable that most affects your result is the judgement of the person choosing the settings. We explain what to ask about a device rather than telling you which to choose.
How do you make money?
Enquiries submitted through the enquiry form are passed to a registered UK practitioner. That is the only commercial relationship. There is no advertising, no affiliate income and no payment for coverage.
Can I contribute or suggest a correction?
Yes, and corrections are welcome. Use the contact page. If something here is wrong, out of date or unclear, we would rather amend it than leave it standing.
This page contains no commercial links of any kind. No clinic, practitioner or device manufacturer is named, recommended or linked to, and nobody has paid for, influenced or previewed anything on it. External links go only to UK regulators and professional bodies and carry a nofollow attribute. Published by Northbank Media under our editorial policy.
